Associate Medical Director Med-Psych, Greenville, NC

* MD/DO from accredited institution, board certified or qualified in both psychiatry and internal or family medicine
Eligible for medical licensure in the State of North Carolina
Clinical experience working with persons in patient settings, who have significant general medical and psychiatric co-morbidities
* Lead Psychiatrist for Med-Psych program providing acute, intermediate, rehabilitation and outpatient health services to more than 1.4 million people in 29 counties

* Leadership role and active clinical, educational and scholarly activities

* Blend of administrative, leadership, clinical care, teaching and scholarship in growing a multi disciplinary and collegial department

* Works with Chief of Service, Medical Director and Hospital Administration to carry out policies of Board of Directors of Hospital.

* May consult on patient in ED or at another hospital in region if needed

* Monday-Friday 8-5pm normal work schedule

* On Call rotated amongst all department MD faculty- Week nights and weekend call are by phone.

* Will accept new graduates and J-1 accepted
