Position Description
The Advanced Practice Provider (FNP, PA or NP) will participate in the development, execution and periodic review of the written policies governing services the clinic furnishes and will provide services in accordance with those policies. The APP will arrange for or refer patients to needed services that cannot be provided at the clinic. The APP will assure that adequate patient health records are maintained and transferred as required when patients are referred and will participate with the Physician in the periodic review of the patients’ health records.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide primary care as per the collaborative agreement/protocols on file in the RHC and according to the policies and procedures of the Clinic.
Maintain licensure and board certification.
As a member of the QA committee, shall participate in the review of at least (15) patient medical charts per quarter.
Shall assist in maintaining accurate and complete patient records.
At a minimum, the APP is required to be available to furnish patient care services at least 50% of the clinic’s regular hours of operation.
Education & Experience Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program leading to a Masters Degree and/or meets the Advanced Nursing Practice set forth by Colorado State Board of Nursing or Physician Assistant requirements set forth by the Colorado State Medical Board.
Must be licensed to practice medicine in the State of Colorado prior to beginning employment.
Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and either Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) or Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS).
Computer literacy required.

Compensation:
Compensation range is $95,000 – $110,000 per year.
Compensation Range:
$100,000 +
