OB/GYN Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner Needed

Family Care provides care at a third site located within Places for People.

We are seeking a full-time experienced Obstetrics & Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner to work as an integral role in our growing health care team environment and become part of the Medical Services Department. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive primary care services for patient who receive health care at Family Care Health Centers. Responsible for providing comprehensive health care to individuals and their families in collaboration with a physician and the health care team. FCHC provides the highest quality of health care services to its patients in a dynamic setting. FCHC also provides a culture of teamwork, professionalism and mutual respect. The ideal candidate must be enthusiastic, motivated, hard-working and flexible, be able to multi-task, have a great attitude and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Nurse Practitioner, in collaboration with the Medical Services Team, is accountable for assisting our patients toward their highest level of health. This position requires the ability to work a full-time schedule. This position reports directly to the Associate Medical Director(s).

_Requirements:_

*Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school of nursing required

*License as a Registered Nurse in the State of Missouri and in good standing required

*Master’s Degree in Women’s Health preferred

*Certified or eligible for certification as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner preferred

*1+ years of practice as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner preferred

*1+ years of supervisor or management skills preferred

*Work experience or strong desire to work in urban community health setting preferred
