Position Description

Complete Health (CH) located in Rapid City, SD is seeking a full-time or part-time Outpatient Counselor to join our team.

Counselor Position

Our counselors play a key role in promoting the wellness of our family practice patient population by performing a wide range of services, and are passionate about patient care and ensure delivery of efficient, high-quality patient care, while working in a busy health care environment. Our number one priority is treating patients with courtesy, respect and patience, regardless of the circumstances.

Our mental health staff provides mental health assessments and conduct follow-up as appropriate. You will work side-by-side with our team of medical, dental, behavioral health, pharmacy, and support staff to work to meet our patients’ needs collectively.

We utilize a patient centered team approach to care and our counselors are a vital part of our health care delivery team. Our counselors are organized, have a strong attention to detail and able to communicate effectively with their care team.

Qualifications

* Certified Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor required; CSW-PIP or LPC-MH preferred.
* Currently licensed with the State of South Dakota
* Minimum experience between 2-3 years
* Previous experience working with culturally diverse families
