Physical Therapist

PMC is looking for a Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team and provide therapy and rehabilitations services to patients. PMC is searching for a highly motivated PT with the ability to work independently, have excellent communication and time management skills – who wants to make a difference on a daily basis for the population we serve. The PT will service a wide range of patient injuries and age groups, who is always ready to learn new techniques to further patient care. The PT is a professional who encourages and inspires their patients to work toward greater independence and recovery and works as an integral member of the patient care team.

_Responsibilities Include_ :

* Ability to perform an appropriate assessment on all patients as related to the therapy requested and provided and reassessments as per policy.
* Able to assess patient pain interfering with optimal level of function or participation in rehabilitation; makes appropriate physician contact for intervention.
* Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
* Interacts professionally with patient/family and involves patient/family in the formation of the plan of care. Communicates appropriately and clearly to physicians, staff and administrative team.
* Coordinates and directs patient care to ensure patients’ needs are met and hospital policy is followed.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements:

* State of Alaska Physical Therapist licensure.
* Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy program.
* Previous clinical / rehabilitation experience preferred but not required.
* This position demands rigorous attention to detail and a high level of professionalism. We are looking for a friendly, customer service oriented individual who can work well with the general public, coworkers, and professional staff.

Work Schedule:

Weekdays (8-5)

Compensation:

* Competitive salary based on experience.
* Starting at $105,000 (or $50.50 per hour) to $138,590 ($66.63 per hour dependent upon experience.
* Relocation.
* Housing assistance for the first six months.
