Dentist Opportunity in Historic Central Vermont!

Federally Qualified Health Center is seeking a General Dentist to join a close-knit, collaborative team that is committed to providing access to high-quality, affordable care. Current staff includes 2 Dentists, 3 Dental Assistants, and 3 Dental Hygienists The Dentist will provide general supervision of ancillary staff and will work directly with the Dental Director and team to develop best practices for providing high-quality dental care to the members of the communities which they serve as an FQHC.

FQHC provides the following services:

* Full-spectrum primary care for children and adults

* Dental care

* Mental health services (including counseling and psychiatry)

* Medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder

* Nutrition consultation

Qualifications:

* Degree from an accredited Dental School (DDS or DMD).

* Licensed for clinical practice in the State of Vermont.

* Strong computer skills and experience with healthcare databases and applications.

* Willingness to comply with local, state and federal laws regarding dental and health care.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to keep detailed records.

* Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, tools and diagnostics.

The health center is centrally located in the state, serving a number of charming and vibrant communities surrounded by the majestic Adirondack and Green Mountains and the Lake Champlain Valley. The area is abundant with four-season recreational opportunities, such as hiking, biking, and kayaking. Less than an hour from Burlington, VT, and two hours from Montreal, Quebec.
