Position Description
· Precept on average four to five half days per week in the residency clinic.
· See your own patients in clinic two to three half days per week.
· One half day per week of administration time.
. Four-day work week (unless on call/delivering).
· Participate in mentoring and didactic activities.
· Participate in educational activities such as simulation, procedural workshops, and other educational activities.
· Participate in academic interests such as research as deemed necessary be the PD.
· Participate in regular faculty meetings.
· Participate in the Clinical Competency Committee (evaluating residents) and our Program Evaluation Committee.
· Obstetrical call (q5-6), newborn and postpartum care.
· Prior teaching experience and faculty development training are preferred but not required.
Must have completed an accredited graduate medical training program and be board certified or eligible within the area of medicine stated. In addition, must have or be able to obtain a license to practice in our multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations. Medical staff in our system will supervise advanced practice clinicians. Medical staff may need to provide outreach service as part of their role in the system. Teaching students, residents, fellows or clinical staff is cornerstone to our Medical Education philosophy and an expectation of all medical staff.
