RN-Labor/Delivery opportunity nestled in the heart of Grant County Oregon!

[_Blue Mountain Hospital District_](https://bluemountainhospital.org/)is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join its Labor and Delivery, Nursery and Post-Partum department which is located in beautiful John Day, Oregon.

#### _Essential Functions and Responsibilities_

* Uses triage process to ensure timely and appropriate care to patients. Accurately assigns triage categories.
* Ability to monitor hemodynamic status of patient and correctly interpret the results.
* Demonstrates knowledge of cardiac monitoring; identifies dysrhythmias and treats appropriately.
* Prepares, hangs, titrates, monitors and discontinues IV fluids and IV medication drips.
* Maintains accurate and continued nursing documentation including patient histories, conditions, treatments, responses and assessment of changes.
* Demonstrates knowledge and care of a multiple trauma patient and prioritizes needs and care appropriately.
* Demonstrates the ability to assist physicians with procedures in the Emergency Department.
* A high level of energy and ability to adjust to different paced environments and care settings is a plus.
* Candidates must exhibit behavior, which emphasizes integrity, trust, kindness, and concern for the community.

_Minimum Qualifications _

* Current (or ability to obtain) an Oregon nursing (RN) license without restrictions;
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification;
* Labor/Delivery/Post-Partum/Nursery experience (preferred).

Education & Experience Requirements:

* Graduation from an accredited nursing school with a Bachelor of Science, Nursing degree;
* PALS Certification (preferred);
* ACLS Certification (preferred);
* TNCC Certification (perferred).

Compensation Range:

$50,000 – $100,000
