REPORTS TO : Director of Clinical Services and Quality Improvement
EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited LVN/LPN nursing program and Licensed Vocation Nurse- Texas Licensed
WORK EXPERIENCE : Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience; 2 years supervisory experience in healthcare
SALARY RANGE : $65,000.00 – $85,000.00 / year, DOE
FLSA STATUS : Exempt
POSITION TYPE : Full-Time
LANGUAGE : Fluent in English; Bilingual in English and Spanish, Arabic, Burmese, Chinese or other languages is required

JOB SUMMARY :
In collaboration with the Director of Clinical Services and Quality Improvement, the Clinical Services Manager will facilitate the delivery of safe, compassionate nursing/clinical support and be a patient safety advocate for patients seeking service at HOPE clinic. The Clinical Services Manager will function within the legal parameters and scope of practice for an LVN/LPN and function within the policy and procedure guidelines of HOPE clinic. The Clinical Services Manager will be a clinical leader for all Medical Assistants at all locations and directly supervise all applicable Back Office Supervisors and Medical Assistants Team Leads. The Clinical Services Manager will model quality care. The home base for the Clinical Services Manager will be at HOPE Clinic – Beltway, located at 7001 Corporate Dr. Ste #120, Houston, TX 77036.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Ensure that HOPE Clinic’s medical assistants maintain up to date clinical competencies, skills and required annual trainings;
* Enforce and inform medical assistant staff members on HOPE Clinic clinical policies & procedures;
* Oversee medical assistant ability, compliance, and understanding across of their scope of practice;
* Supervise all applicable Back Office Supervisors and Medical Assistants Team Leads at all clinic sites;
* Maintain adequate clinical staffing at all locations in collaboration with the Site Manager, Back Office Supervisors, Medical Assistant Team Leads, and provider leadership;
* Maintain onsite coordination of Vaccine for Children program;
* Monitors receipt of labs and submission of reportable disease documentation;
* Assists Quality Improvement and Procurement teams with standardizing medical inventory;
* Participates in auditing infection control, CLIA quality control, emergency supply kits, and medical assistant clinical documentation;
* Participates in quality improvement projects and initiatives;
* Assists with patient care, medical procedures, patient screening (vital signs, vision & hearing, point of care tests, patient flow throughout clinic) and patient discharge utilizing age-appropriate care as needed;
* Be flexible to travel to other sites as needed;
* Attend on-site/off-site community engagement activities, clinic events, and/or training as needed;
* Perform other duties as assigned to support HOPE Clinic’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
* Licensed as (LVN/LPN) in Texas;
* Basic Life Support (BLS).
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE :
* Graduate of an accredited LVN/LPN nursing school program;
* Associate degree preferred;
* 3 years nursing experience;
* 2 years supervisory experience in healthcare (clinic, long-term care or skilled nursing facility).
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES :
* Bilingual (Vietnamese, Chinese, Arabic, and/or Spanish with English) is required;
* Above average skills in language ability as well as public speaking and writing;
* Must have good transportation and a valid Texas Driver’s license.

Compensation:
* Salary is negotiable dependent upon previous experience and education achieved;
* Paid bi-weekly according to company payroll policy;
* Performance and salary reviews occur annually dependent upon start date.
Compensation Range:
$50,000 – $100,000

* PTO accrual of up to 16 days per year at FTE status = 1 for new employees with increases in PTO accrual dependent upon length of service;
