Respiratory Therapist

Part Time with On-Call Schedule

Benefit Earning Position

Othello Community Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a Part Time Benefit Earning Position with an On-call schedule. Minimum of 48 hours a pay period.

BASIC FUNCTION:

This position is responsible for providing specialized respiratory assessment and care commensurate with training, experience, and competence to patients with respiratory disorders. Respiratory Therapists recommend treatment plans and implement care as directed by the patient’s attending physician and hospital protocol. Respiratory Therapists may be assigned other tasks for which they have special training and/or background experience, in order to maximize team efficiency and economy.

Requirements

Graduate of AMA accredited two (2) year Respiratory Care Practitioner education program (or equivalent criteria for state regulatory requirements).

Two (2) years postgraduate acute care respiratory care experience preferred.

CRT or RRT credentials from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC), State of Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner Certification/License.

Current BLS (Healthcare Provider Level), ACLS, and NRP certifications.

BLS/Heartsaver CPR Instructor (able to obtain within 6 months after hiring on).

Certified Respiratory Therapist $26.39- $43.30
Registered Respiratory Therapist $29.86 – $48.99
