Job Summary:

Provide outpatient and inpatient comprehensive OB/GYN services including: preventive and health maintenance services, acute and chronic care, clinical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment as well as OB/GYN consultation services.

Qualifications:

Education:

* Graduation from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy and completion of approved residency in specialty field

Experience:

* Successful completion of approved residency program in specialty

Certification/Licensure:

* Active Florida License required

* DEA license required

* BLS certification required

* Board eligible or Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology required

* Hospital Privileges required if participating in deliveries/hospital procedures

Special Skills:

* This position requires a high degree of responsibility, excellent interpersonal skills, organizational ability, problem-solving skills, and written and oral communication skills.

* Ability to quickly identify problems as well as their most effective treatments.

* Skilled in addressing patient care needs in a compassionate and empathetic manner.

* Skilled in working in a collaborative, team-based practice.

* Demonstrate respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, visitors and fellow employees to ensure a professional and courteous environment.

* Adept at managing reasonable patient expectations and complaints.

* Some knowledge of accreditation standards (AAAHC, HRSA) preferred.

* Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Internet, eClinical Works related software, and online resources).

* Logical, methodical approach to work and capable of meticulous record-keeping.

* Bilingual preferred.

Other Requirements:

* Commitment and ability to keep up to date with scientific and technological developments/literature.

* Able to work flexible hours as assigned.

* Able to work at other CHC locations as assigned
