Faith-based family health care center seeking Medical Assistants to join our growing clinical team. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is a definite plus! The Medical Assistant will be responsible for rooming patients, specimen collection and providing additional clinical support as needed.

* Prepare patients to see Provider – assessing and recording all information per rooming protocol (vitals, chief complaint, PHQ-2, etc.).

* Obtain lab specimens (urine, Phlebotomy, throat, etc.) and test appropriately.

* Per standing orders screen for and give immunizations.

* Per provider perform clinical tasks such as injections, EKG’s, PFT’s, breathing treatments, etc.

* Triage patient needs and escalates up the clinical ladder as appropriate.

* Maintain office by stocking and cleaning rooms.

* Answer phones and assist patients with scheduling and clinical questions, escalate up the clinical ladder to ensure prompt and appropriate resolution of patient needs where necessary.

All positions with East Liberty require up to date COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations.

Work Schedule:

Weekdays (8-5)

Compensation:

Starting Pay $17.50
