Hours of Work: Full-time
Qualifications:
Licensed as a Speech Therapist by the State of Illinois.
Applicants must be a graduate from an accredited ST program with a minimum of BS in ST and must possess an Illinois license or be eligible.
Applicants must be highly motivated, experienced, professional with the ability to start programs, be a mentor, and work independently in the inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings.
One must have a current and valid Illinois Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and car insurance is required.
One must possess good handwriting, excellent communication skills, good computer operation skills, and operation of patient care equipment.
Responsibilities:
The Speech Therapist is responsible for providing highly skilled evaluations and patient care for in-patients, out-patients, swing-bed and home health clients. Speech Therapy clients may include infants, toddlers, preschoolers, adolescents, adults, and geriatric population.
