Hospitalist in Beautiful North Idaho

* 20 bed Critical access hospital
* Average daily census 5 patients
* EMR: Meditech. Dragon is available.
* Floor staffing structure: 2 RNs, 1 CNA, 1 RT, 1 Physician
* No ICU, no Pediatrics
* Position is 1099
* Call is not in-house
* CT is available 24/7, MRI 1-2 times weekly, Ultrasound 4 days per week, TTE weekly.

_Criteria/Responsibilities:_

* Board certified/eligible Internal Medicine
* Have DEA, BLS, ACLS
* Provide 24-hour Hospitalist coverage for medical-surgical unit.
* Procedures are helpful but not required.
* Care for patient’s in the swing bed program.
* Respond to emergencies in the extended care facility on an as needed basis.
* Flexible schedule. 0-4 shifts per month

The practice provides 24-hour coverage for the Medical-Surgical unit. Average daily census is 5. Hospitalist schedule is as needed, part-time, or full-time. Pay is per 24-hour shift.
