Job Responsibilities:
* Provides a full range of anesthesia services customarily provided by CRNAs.
* Cases include a mix of General, Endoscopy, Urology, Orthopedics, OB, Ophthalmology, ENT, and Podiatry.
* The Anesthesia department provides services in the Emergency Department, as well as performs ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks and central line placement.
* Conducts an anesthesia practice in accordance with the ethics of the nursing profession and in compliance with currently approved practices in the field of anesthesia.
Education & Experience:
* Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
* Graduate of a Nurse Anesthesia educational program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.
* Required current license in the state of Nebraska as a Registered Nurse.
* Successfully completed the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists or its predecessor’s certification examination.
