## Responsibilities

CHI St. Alexius Health is hiring a Respiratory Therapist (RT) or Registered Nurse to work as a PRN casual in our RT department. This person provides and performs cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing and therapeutic treatment for patients of all ages with cardiopulmonary diseases. May provide and performs diagnostic testing for EEG/ Sleep Studies. Adheres to the performance standards established for this position. Practices within the scope established by the ND State of Respiratory Care and / or the ND State Board of Nursing according to physician orders and established policies/procedures. This position supports the mission, vision and philosophy of CHI and St. Joseph’s Hospital and Health Center.

## Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

* Current North Dakota Registry or Certification in Respiratory Therapy according to the ND State Board of Respiratory Therapy.
* Ability to complete cardiopulmonary diagnostic and therapy as prescribed by physician.
* Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
* Ability to work alone.
* Capable of meeting the physical and emotional demand of the position.

Preferred Qualifications:

* BLS, ACLS, PALS & NRP preferred
