Expectations: – Conduct chemical analysis of body fluids, including blood, urine, or spinal, to determine presence of normal or abnormal components – Collect biological specimens from patients – Operate, calibrate, and maintain equipment used in quantitative or qualitative analysis – Enter data from analysis of medical tests or clinical results into computer for storage

– Bachelor’s Degree in medical technology or related science from an accredited school. – Certified MT(ASCP), MT(AMT), MT (HEW), qualified as a technologist under CLIA rules, or equivalent. – Individuals who are newly certified beginning January 2004 must participate in the BOR Certification Maintenance Program. – Experience in laboratory medicine Related skills: specimen, clinic, hospital, chemistry, sampling, experiment, biology, data entry, phlebotomy, microbiology, biology, lab, laboratory, phlebotomy, phelbo, sample, specimen, fargolab, MT, Med Tech
