Location: Greenville, Maine
Department: Physician – Emergency Medicine

Position Description

Northern Light CA Dean Hospital is looking for full-time, experienced emergency medicine physician to serve in their new, modern facility in the beautiful Moosehead Region of Greenville, Maine. This position would require 24 hour shifts in 72 hour blocks, covering the ED and inpatients.

CA Dean Hospital is a Critical Access Hospital on the shores of Moosehead Lake in the heart of Maine’s lakes and mountains region. Physicians enjoy the quality of life afforded by the low volume. Community-centered rural hospital in an idyllic setting. Suitable candidates are comfortable working independently to manage the breadth of problems presenting to a “front line” hospital.

CA Dean is a member of Northern Light Health, which provides access to an integrated EMR, access to tertiary specialty services through a “one call” transfer system and selected telemedicine services. CA Dean is also served by a regional trauma service, Lifeflight of Maine, utilizing helicopter and fixed-wing resources.
