Position Description
Position Description : Responsible for providing initial evaluations, individual, group, couples and/or family therapy at the Behavior Health Center. In addition, therapists will provide behavioral health consultation services to the Primary Care Teams within Pediatric and Adult outpatient clinics.
Key Responsibilities:
* client consultations
* initial mental health evaluations resulting in realistic treatment plans
* assessing clients using standardized assessment/screening tools, measures, etc. provide brief, solution focused therapy
* provide group psychoeducation/treatment related to chronic medical conditions
* provide information and referral services
* care coordination crisis assessments/triage with appropriate interventions
* provision of other services related to wellness documentation of services provided in accordance with requirements
* other related activities designed to provide integrated health care services
* individual psychotherapy with children, adults and families
* documentation and scheduling in electronic health record
* provide psychotherapy to children and adults
* other duties as assigned
Key Requirements/Qualifications:
* Master’s degree in social work.
* Active California LCSW license.
* Preferred minimum of 2 years experience working as a licensed provider.
* Ability to respond to difficult or high-stress situations
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Demonstrated commitment to working with underserved populations in a community setting.
* Must be empathic, supportive, and patient.
* Strong interviewing skills.
* Ability to work with people of many cultures.
* Ability to take initiative and a willingness to learn.
* Ability to work well both in teams and independently.
* Ability to collect and enter data for program management, evaluation, and reporting purposes.
* Interest in the use of technology (Excel, Word. Outlook. etc.) to improve care quality a plus.
* Bilingual Spanish-Speaking candidates preferred

Compensation:
$25 – 35/ hour.
Licensed professionals will be considered and compensated at a higher rate.
