Position Description

Volunteer Medical Director and Volunteer Healthcare Professionals Needed

Benv Health Ministry Center & Research, a newly Nonprofit Organization found through Faith and is looking for a Volunteer Medical Director and Volunteer Healthcare Providers (VHPs) to provide medical services for underserved and uninsured population. It is always nice to seeing underserved and uninsured individuals smile after a free medical service, with a thank you in return to all Volunteers. We are located at Sunshine State.

Medical Director

Job Description

A Medical Director overseeing day-to-day service of the clinic and delegates leadership to all VHPs, and clinic staff. Develop a strategic plan for the clinic and assists in implementing clinic goals and objectives. Set-up task force based on the community needs and improved quality of care. Completes and fulfill all Federal, State, healthcare compliance, regulations and policies. Provides medical services to eligible patients according to Florida Department of Health (DOH), Volunteer Program and meets the Florida DOP, Volunteer program requirements. Completes Volunteer Program application. Provides high quality services, Eligible to supervise direct care PharmDs. Meets Florida DOH, Medical Director requirements. The Medical Director must have compassion and dignity towards clinic staff/ volunteers, patients, and external individuals.

Education: Medical Director or Doctor of Osteopathy active license in Florida with no license restriction. Medical degree from accredited medical or osteopathy school, and according to your profession. All VHPs must maintain active license all times.

Experience: Previous Medical Director experience and has interest to provide underserved /uninsured, health disparities medical services.

Volunteer Healthcare Providers

Job Description

Under the supervision of Medical Director, a VHP provides medical services to underserve and uninsured population according to Florida DOH, volunteer program and scope of practice. Assists management to develop a strategic plan for the clinic and assists in implementing clinic goals and objectives. Assists with task force based on the community needs and improves quality care. Provides medical services to eligible patients according to Florida Department of Health (DOH), Volunteer Program and meets the Florida DOP, Volunteer program requirements. Completes Volunteer Program application. Provides high quality services, A physician who is eligible to supervise direct care PharmDs. Meets Florida DOH, Medical Director requirements. The Medical Director must have compassion and dignity towards clinic staff/ volunteers, patients, and external individuals. Completes and fulfill all Federal, State and healthcare compliance, regulations & policies.

Education: Healthcare Providers with active license in Florida with no license restriction. Medical and healthcare degrees from accredited schools, and specific to your profession.

Experience: Previous healthcare experience and has interest to provide underserved /uninsured, health disparities medical service. All VHP must maintain active license at all times.
