Position Description

Knowlton, O’Neill, and Associates, PC is seeking full-time licensed psychologist to provide psychological evaluations and/or psychotherapy to patients depending on psychologist’s interest areas and competencies.

Responsibilities:

Psychologist will provide independent, advanced professional psychological diagnostic methods and evidence-based intervention strategies to patients of varying ages within the outpatient mental health clinic.

This includes, but is not limited to: individual and group psychotherapy, couple’s therapy, diagnostic interviews and assessments, administration and interpretation of psychological tests, and the coordination of treatment services. Psychologists will design and implement treatment plans and provide ongoing therapy reflective of patient needs.

If interested/needed, psychologist will provide clinical supervision to master’s level or doctorate level providers.

Psychologists are expected to maintain legible, organized, and timely patient records.

Psychologists are expected to attend and participate in regular clinical staff meetings including case consultation.

This is a full-time, in-office position. Limited telehealth options for a portion of clinical load may be considered.

Qualifications:

Doctorate degree from an American Psychological Association-accredited university or graduate program.

Active and unrestricted licensure as a psychologist in the state of North Dakota, or license eligible in the state of North Dakota.

Specialized training and experience with Cognitive Behavioral orientations preferred. Experience with electronic health records preferred.

If unable to fill with a licensed candidate, will consider filing the position as a Psychology resident, which requires a doctorate degree in Psychology and eligibility for supervised psychological residency as determined by the North Dakota Board of Psychologist Examiners.

Established in 2002, Knowlton, O’Neill, & Associates provides high quality, empirically-driven treatments to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and family in an independent outpatient clinic setting. Our providers are supported in developing their unique clinical interests and scope of practice in a shared outpatient, private practice setting.
