HIV & Syringe Program Volunteer

Role: Volunteers work with paid staff in a team approach to provide harm reduction education and resources needed to help slow the spread of HIV, Hep C, promote access to social and medical services and prevent overdoses.

Hours: One shift weekly, generally about 3 hours, flexible

Days: Monday through Friday, office hours, flexible

Expectations: Minimum 3-month commitment after completion of orientation.

Qualifications:

* Must be philosophically committed to the program and to Harm Reduction
* Must be a good listener
* Must be open-minded
* Supervisor: Outreach Supervisor
