Immediate Care Family Practitioner

Family Health Centers is seeking Family Physicians, Med-Peds Physicians or Family APRNS to provide high quality health care to Louisville’s underserved. Family Health Centers Immediate Care locations provide same-day accessibility for sick visits and other urgent health care needs.

(FHC) is a non-profit health center with 8 locations, whose mission is to provide access to high quality primary and preventive health care services without regard to the ability to pay. FHC provides comprehensive, high quality primary care while working within an urban ambulatory care setting without hospital duties.

Education & Experience Requirements:

* MD degree
* Must have or be able to obtain Kentucky Medical License.
* Must obtain a Kentucky Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) license within 60 days of hire date and maintain license throughout employment with FHC.
* Must obtain CPR certification by the end of the probationary period and maintain certification throughout employment with FHC.

Weekdays (8-5)

Compensation:

As a Federally Qualified Health Center, Family Health Centers providers qualify for National Health Service Corp Loan Repayment.

Compensation Range:

TBD/Negotiable

Benefits:

FHC also provides rich benefits to our employees; the employee benefit package at FHC is valued at approximately 45% of an employee’s annual salary. In addition to health insurance, Kentucky State Retirement System, and other benefits to staff, providers receive up to 17 days of vacation in their first year of service, professional liability insurance under FTCA, and up to five days of paid leave for Continue Medical Education and support for professional expenses.
