Behavioral Health Provider

LCSW or LPCC to serve in Providence and Clay, KY at our Health First Community Health Center clinics.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Master’s Degree and valid KY license to include LCSW or LPCC. Must have minimum 2 years’ clinical experience. Applicant must possess interpersonal communication skills, computer skills, multi-task and work as a team. Proven ability to take initiative, work independently without direct supervision and be empathetic and passionate about patient care. Valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel to both clinics required. HFCHC is a Federally Qualified Health Center, so candidates working with our organization automatically qualify to apply for student loan reimbursement through NHSC.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Formulate, implement and evaluate an outcome based treatment plan for each client.· Conduct individual, family or group psychotherapy using all generally accepted methods for brief or long term therapy.· Refer mental health patients for home health services, as appropriate.· Prescribe, monitor, administer, manage and evaluate psychopharmacological and related medications.· Seek specific therapeutic responses, anticipate side effects, safeguard against adverse drug interactions and be alert for unintended toxic responses.· Provide psychiatric consultation in community and general health settings with attention to culturally, spiritual, emotional, cognitive, behavioral, developmental and environmental factors that foster health and prevent mental illness.· Advocate for services needed by clients by analyzing barriers to care and identifying needed system improvements and collaborating with other providers to assure case management geared toward promoting the health of clients.· Be an active member and proponent of a comprehensive health care model to seek out alternative methods and resources to assist patients.· Act as an educational resource in the agency and in the community.· Provider other services within scope as requested and/or needed.

Work Schedule:

Weekdays (8-5)

Compensation:

Tuition Assistance, NHSC and KSLRP approved sites, self-funded employer program, monthly metric bonuses based on quality and attendance, annual increases, WRVU bonus program

Compensation Range:

$50,000 – $100,000
