Position Description

The University of Maryland School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Hospitalist, is a seeking a full time, experienced Assistant or Associate Professor level candidates to join our Pediatric Hospitalist program. This position being established at The University of Maryland Shore Medical Center to deliver innovative and comprehensive health care to our pediatric populations of Eastern Shore and it’s surrounding counties in Easton, Maryland

Qualifications

• Medical degree or foreign equivalent.

• Completion of residency training in Pediatrics

• Completion of fellowship training in Pediatric Hospital Medicine, preferred

• Maryland medical license or eligible for Maryland medical license.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics

• Possesses and maintains current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification required.

• Demonstrates meeting minimum CME requirements for licensure and board certification.

• Demonstrates appropriate qualifications and experience to perform the duties required of this position.
