Assistant Professor Opportunity with School of Medicine/FQHC

This academically-affiliated Community Health Center seeks a full-time Assistant Professor to provide clinical duties with the Federally Qualified Health Center and affiliated practice sites located Decatur, Illinois. Duties will also include teaching family medicine resident physicians, medical students, and physician assistant students, as well as other scholarly duties as assigned.

We are a fully-accredited, 15 resident family medicine program. The program is honored with community wide physician support, which is an educational benefit enjoyed by many residents.

Job Requirements

* Qualified applicants must be sensitive to the needs of the underrepresented minority populations
* Must possess an MD or DO degree
* Must have graduated from an accredited residency training program at time of hire
* Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine at time of hire and be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois
