Mutli-Specialty Clinic seeking Cardiopulmonary Technician

We are seeking a Cardiopulmonary Technician to join our growing multi-specialty clinic. This position supports the organization by performing various basic cardiovascular and pulmonary tests ordered by the patients provider.

Key Responsibilities

* Performs ECGs on patients during scheduled appointments as requested by provider
* Provide patient education and hook up of short and long-term holter monitors
Performs exercise oximetry tests
* Monitors cardiac status during stress echocardiograms (treadmill and chemical)
* Performs basic pulmonary Function Testing
* Prepares testing rooms for patient tests, keeping the rooms neat and clean
* Demonstrates appropriate and accurate documentation of patient test results
* Inventory and order medical and office supplies or equipment
* Assists in billing, data entry, and lab equipment care/maintenance
* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

* Experience One year work experience as a Medical Assistant or closely related position
* Education High School Education or equivalent required
* Previous experience in RT/PFT lab preferred
* Current BLS certification or completion within 6 months of employment is required
* Work Environment Possible exposure to communicable diseases
