Healthcare practitioner who specialize in oral health; General dentist with a baccalaureate degree with a four year program as Doctor of Dentistry degree; Must be a licensed Dentist in the State with an active DEA Certificate.

*Performance Duties :

Diagnose, prevent, and treat problems with teeth or mouth tissue. Remove decay, fill cavities, examine x rays, place protective plastic sealants on children’s teeth, straighten teeth, and repair fractured teeth. Coordinate and/or integrate care across all elements of the complex health care system (e.g., subspecialty care, hospitals, home health agencies, nursing homes) and the patient’s community (e.g., family, public and private community-based services).

Care is facilitated by registries, information technology, health information exchange and other means to assure that patients get the indicated care when and where they need and want it in a culturally and linguistically appropriate manner.

Advocate for patients to support the attainment of optimal, patient-centered outcomes that are defined by a care planning process driven by a compassionate, robust partnership with patients, and the patient’s family. Incorporate Evidence-based medicine (Clinical Measures) and clinical decision-support (CDSS) tools guide decision making.
