Mobile Shelter Monitor

Ensure general safety and structure of the property by monitoring guest activities to promote safety and well-being.

– Additionally, ensure the structure is properly cared for and maintained.

– Maintain a daily log of any activities/incidents

– provide crisis intervention with the assistance of on call staff

– respond to guest concerns/needs

– record all incidents on a typed incident form as required

– attend monthly staff meetings when possible

– attend required trainings

– handle all client information confidentially and with respect

– Any duties as assigned by supervisory staff

– Ability to other languages encouraged but not required.

REPORTS TO: Shelter Coordinator

EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIRED:

High School diploma or equivalency. Experience in related field preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Solitary on an emergency shelter bus.
