PA/NP opportunity in Wilson- loan repayment (tax-free) or bonus available

Opportunity for a NP/PA to join the County Health Department. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am- 5:00 pm. Extended hours and weekend work may be requested or required for special events and/or programmatic needs. Student loan payment available through the NC Loan Repayment Program.

This position provides management for a broad range of personal health services including: Child Health, STD, Maternity, Family Planning, Adult Health, and Primary Care. Services include: diagnosing, treating and managing acute and chronic illnesses; prescribing and administering therapeutic measures, procedures and drugs; promoting and maintaining health; providing guidance and counseling for individuals and families and consulting with and referring patients to other health care providers as appropriate. Changes in guidelines occur very frequently and
must be implemented as quickly and efficiently as possible.
