The Intensive Family Preservation (IFP) program provides family-centered case management and care coordination in order to increase self-sufficiency, decrease the risk of abuse or neglect, achieve permanency for children, improve child well-being, and improve daily living and parenting skills. Families served have children who are at risk of being removed from the home or are currently in DCYF care. The IFP team is looking for a passionate and collaborative individual to deliver primarily home-based services to families open to RI DCYF. The ideal case manager for the IFP program values team-based work, a positive work atmosphere, and is able to manage multiple tasks, focus on family strengths, and handle crisis. Case Manager will provide services in clients’ homes, in the community, and within the agency. Provide role-modeling and education on parent-child relations, parenting skills, financial organization and family life skills. Establish and maintain professional relationships with consumers and colleagues.

Education/Licensing Requirements: A Bachelor’s Degree in social work, human development or related field, and/or relevant experience, plus demonstrated competence. Ability to work independently and within a team framework. Openness to ongoing supervision, training, and personal and professional development. Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle required.
