Behavioral Health Intake Specialist

Position Summary:

Exciting opportunity to become a member of our dynamic behavioral health Intake team. As a member of this team, you will provide intake assessments at our outpatient community behavioral health center in Woonsocket.

Duties would include meeting face to face with new clients seeking services and completing a biopsychosocial assessment and making in house referrals to center programs. This is a fulltime position with flexibility in workdays and hours. Four-day work week options are available. Experience in the use of DSM 5 as well as knowledge of ASAM criteria is a must.

All staff must be vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to starting work, unless a certified medical exemption accommodation is granted. Proof of vaccination must be shown upon hire.

Education and Training Required:

LCDP candidates with experience in mental health as well as candidates with a master’s degree in human services related field are encouraged to apply.
