Ophthalmology Physician for Level II Trauma Center in Reno/Tahoe, Federal Loan Forgiveness

Renown Health, Northern Nevada’s largest and only not-for-profit locally governed healthcare network is seeking a General Ophthalmologist to join our highly successful medical group.
The ideal candidate will have completed a Glaucoma Fellowship.
Physician will treat Adults 18 + and can expect to treat early stage glaucoma with drops and laser, perform more advanced glaucoma surgery (if desired), as well as, basic retina lasers and some cornea refractive surgery.
The successful candidate will join our physician-led medical group. Incumbent is joining an established practice being the divisions first General Ophthalmologist under the Department of Surgery. Providers work in the outpatient clinic Monday – Friday.
Renown Health and the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine (UNR Med) are affiliate partners in Nevada’s first integrated academic health system. The affiliation aims to improve the health of the community, region, and state through research, medical education, and expanded clinical care. Renown physicians participate as joint faculty at UNR Med for teaching, lectures, supervising clinical rotations, and other academic activities for the education of medical and physician assistant students, residents, and fellows.
