Job Summary and Qualifications
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Cardiac Stepdown Service Unit
(CSSU). In this role, you will provide direct nursing care in accordance with
established policies, procedures and protocols of the hospital. While
providing clinical and administrative support on this 15-bed unit, you will
work closely with the clinical team to create and implement a care plan that
meets each patient’s needs. Our team is amazing and we consider ourselves a

- Demonstrates knowledge and proficiency in the care of patient with a focus on cardiovascular diagnoses and procedures including but not limited to- pre and post cardiac caths, pacemakers, TEEs/Cardioversions, open heart surgery, ablations, TAVRs, groin management, strokes/TIAs, traumas, sepsis, COPD, CHF, AFib exacerbations, detox and drug abuse, and general med/surg telemetry overflow and IV maintenance.
- On our team, you will monitor, record and communicate patient conditions as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
- You will work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, collaborative environment
- You will instruct and educate patients and family members.
- Coordinate patient’s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
REQUIREMENTS
- Registered Nurse (RN) License in NH or valid Compact State License
- BLSandACLS(American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross)
- Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia – (within 3 months from hire)
- NIH Stroke Scale within 45 days of hire
