Job Summary and Qualifications
# What will you do in this role:
#

* Provide assessment and care of the patient undergoing transesophageal echo (TEE), cardioversions, cardiac and vascular procedures included but not limited to percutaneous coronary intervention (PTCI) as well as percutaneous vascular intervention under moderate sedation alsofor pre and post procedure cardiac/vascular patients.

  • Recognize and respond to cardiac emergencies
  • Demonstrates knowledge of normal anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular system
  • Provide safe medication administration for the cardiac patient
  • Utilizes appropriate hand off of care amongst healthcare givers
  • Adheres to department standards for documenting patient care
  • Provide education and discharge planning to patient/family
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

What qualifications you will need:

  • BLS and ACLS certifications within 30 days of employment start date.
  • NH Licensed Registered Nurse or valid compact state RN License.
  • Associates degree from an accredited school of nursing
  • At least 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience preferred
