Job Summary and Qualifications

The Billing Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day
responsibilities of the Billing Edit Manager and Central Claim Control team
including inventory management, implementation of automations through billing
system resources, and ensuring efficient and timely communication of concerns
or significant issues. It is the responsibility of the Senior Manager to
ensure that all outlined process and workflows maintain compliant within the
parameters of the applicable policies. In this role, this person will maintain
communication with SSC leaders.
What you will do in this role:

• Oversee operational workflows of the Billing Edit Manager and Central Claim Control team to ensure compliance
• Establish and maintain efficient processes as related to relevant policies and workflows
• Perform staff and performance reviews of direct reports
• Provide relevant guidance to direct reports
• Maintain communication and provide guidance to the SSC regarding areas of responsibility – edits, routines, etc
• Coordinate with Corporate Billing Director and SSC leadership teams to ensure system health and efficient and timely billing of claims
• Coordinate with billing system vendor to ensure timely communication and resolution of reported issues
• Understand system and automation functionality to implement and increase efficiency of resolution and billing
• Perform timely and thorough quality reviews for existing processes
• Monitor and ensure team productivity and completeness of processes
• Ensure timely communication of delays or issues to impacted parties
• Promote implementation of automation and edits to ensure compliance of billing and CMS policies
• Coordinate with Corporate Compliance department for implementation of edits to drive compliance in billing
• Assume a lead role for innovation, knowledge sharing and leading practice identification within the department and among peer group
• Utilize reporting resources internal to Parallon and those provided by vendors to assess trending issues and analyze for resolution

# What qualifications you will need:

* Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required. If a desired applicant does not have a Bachelor’s Degree the requirement can be waived IF they are currently in a Bachelor Degree program.

• Minimum 5 years healthcare management experience with three of these years in the related area for the position. Relevant education may substitute experience requirement with SSC Executive approval.
