dedicated Lactation Consultant Nursery like you to be a part of our team.

Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

• Provides education to and support for the patients who chose to breastfeed; and to those patients who do not chose to breastfeed but may have questions about breast care after delivery
• Provides education for the hospital staff and the community
• Serves as a resource for hospital staff and physicians; and outpatient consultations on a referral basis
• Complies with the Memorial Health Compliance Program, related policies and procedures and the Code of Business Practices; reports instances of perceived and actual non-compliance to Team Leader or through other reporting mechanisms
• Changes in breastfeeding related supply and/or budget items

What qualifications you will need:

• Intl Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• Associate Degree.
