Job Summary and Qualifications
We are currently seeking a Hyperbaric Technician to join our team. As our
Hyperbaric Technician you administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy to patients.
You will also be responsible for the safe, and effective operation of the
hyperbaric chambers and related support systems, acting as the outside
attendant and control operator during clinical treatments. We are an amazing

Your tasks and responsibilities may include:
- You will perform oxygen therapy treatment protocols as prescribed by physician.
- You will observe the patient and the hyperbaric systems during the course of oxygen treatments reporting unusual occurrences to physician.
- You will accurately document patient condition and the administration of care in the patient record in a timely manner.
- You will take an active role in hyperbaric medicine education programs and orient hospital and other personnel to hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
- You will contribute to a culture of patient centered care by ensuring a quiet healing environment.
What qualifications you will need:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 12 months in a hyperbaric environment
- CHT-Certified hyperbaric tech by the National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology (NBDHMT)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
HCA Florida Osceola Hospital is a 404-bed tertiary care hospital. We are
accredited by the Joint Commission and are a Level II Trauma Center. We are a
teaching hospital in collaboration with UCF College of Medicine. Our hospital
is conveniently and centrally located in the Heart of Kissimmee. We are only
