Job Summary and Qualifications

Mammography Technician / Mammographer
Our imaging teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are
currently seeking a Florida-licensed Mammography Technician to perform routine
preventative and diagnostic mammographic procedures including stereotactic,
ABBI and breast needle localization procedures. This is a PRN/per diem/as-
needed role. We prioritize patient care. If you are dedicated to caring for

As a Mammographer, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform mammography/radiology studies in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner obtaining high-quality images ready for interpretation
• Prepare, transfer and position patients as needed ensuring modesty, safely utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devices indicated
• Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time
• Maintain proactive and effective communication with patient and other caregiver colleagues to include the radiologist
• Check the operation of the equipment, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment to prevent cross-contamination of contagious diseases and keep room stocked with necessary supplies

# What qualifications you will need:

* Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• State Registered Radiologic Technician
• Associate Degree
• Registered Radiology Technologist Mammographer, or Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
