PRN Internal Medicine GME Core Faculty

• MD/DO
• Board certified in internal medicine
• Must have strong academic experience and willing to do inpatient and/or outpatient primary care work
• Maintain the content and quality of the applicable curriculum for the residents
• Complete required resident evaluations during the clinical experience
• Participate as an active faculty member in the program as required by the program director and governing institutional policies
• Participate in weekly grand rounds
• Supervise residents in facility’s outpatient clinic
• Participate in resident interviews/recruiting at the request of the program director
• Must have excellent communication skills
• The program is a young, energetic group of physicians who have a wonderful working relationship and are looking forward to adding a new team member
• Maintain a small panel of private patients in the outpatient office
• 50/50 inpatient/outpatient responsibilities
