The practice has a strong regional reputation based on excellent quality and compassionate care to the people of the communities it serves. The practice includes a nationally certified breast program and robust colorectal volume with support of subspecialists located close by at a sister hospital. Ideal candidates should have an interest in endoscopy and breast surgery. There is also an opportunity for vascular surgery if interested. Call is 1:7. The program also includes residency rotation/support with the opportunity to teach residents and 3rd year medical students.

Practice in a Medical Office Building connected to Carilion New River Valley Medical Center an award-winning 146-bed acute care facility offering modern medical ORs, state of the art technology (advanced imaging and robotic surgery). Join 200 physicians on the medical staff representing a broad spectrum of both medical and surgical specialties. The hospital has a Level III Trauma designation that is home to Lifeguard 11, Carilion Clinic’s Emergency Air Medical Transport which primarily serves the New River Valley and areas west.
