Position Description
Key Responsibilities
* The APP will assist in medical care to provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive care health care services as delegated.
* Responsible for providing professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices.
* Knowledge of professional theory, discipline of practice, regulations, and practices to give and evaluate patient care.
* Knowledge of acute and chronic care protocols, administration of medications, delivering physical care following treatment plan.
* Ability to observe, assess and record symptoms, reactions and progress and measure/record physiologic and growth indices.
* Ability to perform medical examinations using standard medical procedures.
* Ability to make responsible decisions within the scope of a dependent medical practitioner.
* Knowledge of drugs and their indication, contraindications, dosing, side effects and proper administration.
* Skill in preparing and maintaining records, writing reports and responding to correspondence.
Qualifications
* Master’s Degree required
* Graduate of accredited APRN or PA program
* Minimum of one-year experience, preferably in a hospital setting
* Current Kansas license

Schedule: Full time & Part time positions available 9am-9pm in our Emergency Department.
