II. Requirements:

Qualifications

* Graduation from an accredited Physician’s Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program recognized by the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision

* Successful completion of the entry-level, national certification examination for physician assistants administered by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants or successful completion of the ANCC Family Nurse Practitioner board certification examination.

* Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certifications

* Ability to maintain confidentiality of all medical, financial, and legal information.

* Ability to handle difficult situations involving patients, physicians, or others in a professional manner.

* Ability to work alone and with groups

Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions

* Working irregular hours including call hours

* Demanding, high-stress environment

* Exposure to blood and body fluids, communicable diseases, chemicals, radiation, and repetitive motions

* Work in areas that are confined and/or crowded.

* Position may require heavy lifting in excess of 75-100lbs

* Stand for long periods of time

* Position requires reaching, bending, stooping, and handling objects with hands and/or fingers, talking and/or hearing, and seeing.

III. Duties:

Job Summary

Essential Functions

* Promote the mission, vision, and values of FRMC.

* Always introduces self to patients, families, and visitors.

* Follows all infection control practices including hand washing techniques, Standard Precautions, and isolation precautions.

* Cooperate with other personnel to achieve departmental objectives, maintain good employee relations and interdepartmental objectives.

* Develop and periodically review the written policies and procedures which shall govern the healthcare services provided in the clinic

* Provide high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic healthcare services to clinic patients

* Responsible for all clinical and office staff with respect to medical problems and/or questions in providing patient care

* Maintain current state licenses, certifications, and CMEs as required by state laws and regulations

* Regular attendance of medical staff meetings

* Sign all orders and encounters in timely manner

Non-Essential Functions

* Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $100,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year

Compensation:

Providers are paid a base salary to work in the rural health clinic and then additional pay when on call for the emergency department.

Compensation Range:

$100,000 +
