Facility Medical Director Opportunity in Savannah, GA.
HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is seeking an experienced BE/BC General
Anesthesiologist to lead the team at Memorial Health University Medical Center
Hospital in Savannah, GA. Our goal is to maintain a supportive, productive
clinical environment where team members thrive and can focus on providing
outstanding patient care.
In this key role, the Facility Medical Director is responsible for the
oversight and management of all clinical operations including staffing and
utilization of fulltime and premium contingent labor, compliance with
protocols and practice standards as well as managing the relationships between
Anesthesia and the Hospital’s MSO, Surgical Services and
C-Suite/Administration. They will work in partnership with the facility’s
Director of Physician Services, the Assistant Vice President of Operations and
with Regional Medical Director in their market.
The ideal candidate will be a highly effective communicator- one that is
comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization and able to
successfully partner with facility leadership and ancillary departments. This
individual will also have a passion for maintaining the highest quality
standards and value Practice stability and retaining our talented team
members.

• Employed by HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services
• ABMS Board Certified/Board Eligible
• Anesthesia Care Team Model of 16 General Anesthesiologists, 3 CV Anesthesiologists and 60 CRNA/AAs covering 27 sites of service providing coverage for surgical and procedural areas including a gastrointestinal diagnostics unit, labor and delivery, angiography suite, electrophysiology, and radiology services
• Case mix includes Cardiac, Ortho, Neuro. General, Urology, ENT, Bariatric, Vascular, Thoracic, OB/GYN, Peds and Trauma
• Annual surgical volume 24,000+ cases and 3000+ OB cases
• Main ORs plus Cath Lab, IR, Endo Suites. XX NORA sites.
