Job Summary :
The Echocardiography technician shall be responsible for performing Trans-
thoracic and Transesophogeal ECHOs. This shall also include processing of all
reports as well as performing other duties in the diagnostic cardiology
department. The employee is responsible for starting on time and providing
high quality images. When unable to obtain high quality images, he/she will
contact a co-worker to assist.
What qualifications you will need:

• Registered Cardiac Sonographer through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Registered Vascular Technologist through the Cardiovascular Credentialing International
• 1 year Experience in performing all modes of Echocardiography
• High School diploma or GED. Degree in sonography specializing in cardiology preferred
• Basic Cardiac Life Support Provider or Instructor through American Red Cross or American Heart Association
