Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The Nurse Practitioner will play a crucial role in providing primary care services to uninsured and underinsured individuals who rely on our clinic for their healthcare needs. Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions.
• Prescribe medications and educate patients on proper medication use and self-care techniques.
• Provide preventive care services, including health screenings, immunizations, and health counseling.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to ensure coordinated and holistic care for patients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monday-Thursday 8 am to 5 pm schedule with Fridays OFF and NO CALL.
Qualifications:
• Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in North Carolina.
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Free and Charitable Clinics preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Nurse Practitioner in a primary care or community health setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing compassionate and culturally competent care to diverse patient populations.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred.
Work Schedule:
Weekdays (8-5)
Compensation:
$90,000 – $110,000 depending on experience
