Our serene and supportive environment provides clients with a safe space to explore, process, and overcome life’s challenges. We specialize in working with at-risk youth, trauma victims, and individuals navigating recovery from substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group therapy sessions incorporating equine-assisted psychotherapy techniques.

Develop and implement tailored treatment plans for clients, addressing their specific needs and goals.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including equine specialists and other therapists, to ensure holistic care.

Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

Participate in team meetings, training, and continuing education opportunities.

Advocate for and promote the benefits of equine-assisted therapy within the community.

Qualifications:

Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

Current licensure as a therapist (e.g., LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or equivalent) in West Virginia.

Experience working with at-risk children, trauma survivors, or individuals with substance use disorders preferred.

Certification or training in equine-assisted psychotherapy (e.g., EAGALA, PATH, or equivalent) is a strong advantage, but not required. Certification within one year will be mandatory.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices is highly desirable.
