We’re looking for a Credentialing Specialist to help keep our providers enrolled, credentialed, and ready to care for patients — all while being part of a close-knit, mission-driven organization. In this role, you’ll do work for both our Rural Health Clinic (RHC) and Critical Access Hospital (CAH). You’ll be part of the Patient Accounting Department, focusing on provider enrollment, while also working closely with our Chief Executive Officer (CEO), who oversees credentialing efforts. It’s a role with real impact — helping ensure our clinicians can deliver care to the people who need it most. What You’ll Do: Manage credentialing and re-credentialing processes for medical providers Submit and track provider enrollment applications with insurance payers Maintain up-to-date provider files and documentation Collaborate with providers, internal teams, and external contacts to keep everything running smoothly Support compliance with RHC/CAH standards, state licensing, and payer requirements What We’re Looking For: Someone organized and detail-loving Familiar with healthcare credentialing or provider enrollment (bonus if it’s in a rural or critical access setting) A great communicator who can coordinate with multiple stakeholders Someone who enjoys meaningful work in a small community with big heart Education/Experience: • Bachelor’s degree preferred, minimum of 2 years’ experience in a hospital setting desired Certificates and Licenses: • CPCS certification from NAMSS or equivalent certification required, or willingness and ability to meet requirements and obtain within 1 year of date of hire Benefits/Salary Benefits Include: Medical, Dental, and Vision, 403(b) with a maximum match of 5% (match depends on years of service), Employer paid life insurance, Employer paid Long-Term Disability, Health Flex Spending Account (HFSA), Day Care Flex Spending Account (DFSA), EAP, Earned Leave accrual (.071153846/hr) & Paid Sick Leave accrual (.025/hr).
