Stephen Klein Wellness Center - Project HOME
Position Description
We are seeking a patient-oriented and adaptable Dental Assistant who will prepare rooms and patients for quality dental treatment by ensuring all necessary established systems and processes are followed. This position is located at the Stephen Klein Wellness Center. The schedule is currently Monday-Friday 8:30a-4:30pm.
Education and Experience Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Requirements
* Current Radiology certificate
* Current CPR (BLS) certification
* Demonstrate teamwork, empathy, flexibility, sound judgment, patience, integrity, and organization in a fast paced environment
* Attention to detail, safety, dependability, listening, and communication skills
* Demonstrate cultural competency and take a trauma-informed and harm-reduction approach to health care
* Competency in the use of Electronic Health Records and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and the internet
Preferred Qualifications
* 3 years of experience as a Dental Assistant or EFDA
* Experience in a clinical environment
Physical requirements
* Ability to work for long periods of time standing, sitting, bending
* Occasional lifting of 40-50lbs and pushing of 5-20lbs
* A medium to high level of manual dexterity

Compensation:
Minimum Starting Pay: $22.89/hourly
