Monday to Friday:

Rapides Primary Health seeks a full-time Dentist (DDS or DMD) to become part of a strong mission-driven team in Alexandria, Louisiana. In this role, you will be joining a diverse group providers at a full-service clinic that houses family medical, pediatrics, behavioral health, podiatry, and women’s health departments. This is an outpatient primary care position and provides you with the opportunity to build your own patient panel.

Duties include:

Primary Care-Fixing or removing damaged teeth

Filling cavities

Performing exams and evaluating x-rays to determine a patient’s health

Developing treatment plans to deal with any dental health issues

Administering or prescribing medications to decrease pain and improve patient health

Interacting with patients and instruct them on proper oral care

Measuring and fitting dental appliances

Referring patients to a specialist if needed
